Actalent Software Engineer interview experience

The timing and the content made it feel like no real effort had gone into reviewing my resume beforehand. Questions came up that seemed like they could have been answered just by spending about a minute looking at what I had submitted.

It was hard not to notice the mismatch between what they asked and what was actually on my resume. Even in that short call, it became apparent quickly that the process wasn’t being handled with much attention.

I didn’t receive an offer, and the overall impression was that the screening wasn’t as thoughtful as it should have been.
