Accenture Software Engineer interview experience

Posted Jan 2026 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

My interview for a Java Spring Boot software engineer role focused heavily on fundamentals and coding plus SQL.

The technical portion asked me about Core Java and OOP, and it moved through two separate DSA-style problems. After that, I had one SQL question and then a discussion of my project basics—how I approached the work and what mattered in the implementation.

Overall it felt like a straightforward skills confirmation: they were checking whether I could write code, handle data structures/problem-solving, and also work with SQL in addition to explaining my own project. The difficulty was in the breadth more than a single overwhelming question, but it still demanded solid coverage across the whole
