I went for a physical interview for a .NET role, but the technical assessment didn’t look like I expected.

Instead of a typical interview-only conversation, I was given an assessment that involved SQL and stored procedure work written on paper, plus scenario-style questions that tried to mirror real life.

After the interview, there was no update and no clear rejection either. I realized later that I didn’t follow up on my side, and I also wasn’t as interested in continuing after how the process went quiet. In the end, I didn’t get an offer, and the uncertainty afterwards was honestly the most memorable part.
