My interview track started with an SHL aptitude test, which immediately set a higher bar than a normal conversational screen.

After that, I had an AAP day round that was essentially a group case study with a large team—8 to 10 people—with limited preparation time to read relevant materials.

The last step was presenting a business case individually to senior management. That presentation component felt like it was measuring not just my conclusions, but how confidently and clearly I could frame my thinking under pressure.

I didn’t end up getting the role. Still, the structure was memorable: it tested reasoning first, then teamwork quickly, and then communication directly with senior leaders.
