Charlotte, NCPosted Aug 2024 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

After a fairly standard recruiter conversation, I moved into three back-to-back, very long in-person interviews with the hiring manager.

It ended up being an exhausting stretch—combined, I spent about five hours in person with the same manager, essentially cycling through similar questions. The process felt repetitive rather than progressive.

Once that long in-person run was done, I still wasn’t sent to the final (fifth) interview. There was no clear explanation, and the whole thing left me frustrated. The experience made me feel like the interview flow wasn’t being managed well, because after that much time with the hiring manager, it seemed like they either knew what they wanted already or the process simply wasn’t working.
