My first step was a Zoom/Teams interview that lasted about 35 minutes.

It was the start of the process, and the tone was collaborative rather than overly rigid.

After the Zoom conversation, I had the chance to meet a DM via webcam before going in person. That felt helpful because it was a quick way to gauge whether our working styles and personalities clicked ahead of time. Even though I didn’t end up getting the offer, the early sequence stood out as a smooth ramp into the in-person stage and made the setup feel more intentional.
