I spoke with the hiring manager, and the interview stood out because she had recently moved into sales leadership after working primarily in marketing at AbbVie.

That background shaped the conversation and made it clear she valued company alignment and a strong, positive outlook.

Despite having almost no direct sales experience, she came across as personable and professional, and it sounded like her coaching would be closely tied to corporate training and guidance.

I didn’t receive an offer from this experience, and what stayed with me was how much the discussion felt like it was evaluating fit for a structured development environment rather than just raw sales experience.
