My timeline stretched out, and the gap between stages made it feel slower than it needed to be.

It took about a month from the first interview to reach an on-site day, and the calendar itself (including a holiday break) seemed to push everything further. On the on-site, I went through rounds that included a visit to the site with a tour and a technical test.

Before getting that far, I also experienced an approach that combined multiple conversations—there were HR sessions plus discussions with peers and then a manager. The manager round required me to present a use case, and they expected me to be ready to handle technical follow-ups afterward, including details tied to EV charging.
