ABB Software Engineer interview experience

After an initial HR-style screening, I moved into a technical discussion, and then there was a final HR round. Each step was explained clearly and felt distinct rather than vague. Communication stayed transparent, and I appreciated that the process didn’t feel filtered or segmented—everything was just organized and professional.

The process took a while end-to-end, roughly around three months, which honestly caught me off guard at first. But the interviews during that stretch stayed fairly clear, and my impression was that they were intentional about what they were evaluating at each stage.
