3M Software Engineer interview experience

No offer

Medium

Negative

United StatesPosted Nov 2020 · Candidate report, summarized by Dataford

I applied through 3M’s online career section, and within a week I received a request for a phone interview.

The timing felt quick, and the call itself stayed pretty technical with no real behavioral questions.

After that, I didn’t hear much back. Eventually I received confirmation that there was no offer, and it came with the sense that things stalled after the interview and didn’t move forward.

Overall the experience felt average in difficulty, but the lack of follow-through was what made it disappointing. I remember walking away knowing I’d done the technical part, yet still not understanding why the process stopped there.
