Best IGotAnOffer Alternatives for Interview Coaching (2026)

Five IGotAnOffer alternatives for interview coaching and mock interviews, including data and engineering roles, with prices checked Oct 18, 2026.

Short answer

Which one should you use?

IGotAnOffer is a coaching marketplace with free written guides, where sessions cost 2 to 5 credits an hour and credits cost $40 to $50 each. It's strong for PM, software engineering and consulting. People look elsewhere when they want practice between sessions, more technical or data coaches, or a cheaper way to practice. These are the alternatives I'd look at:

01Prep for a specific company and role, with coaches from that company: Dataford (I run it). It has 40+ verified-employer coaches at companies like Meta, Google and Databricks, with anonymous sessions that run inside the platform, no separate Zoom or Google Meet link, and nothing recorded. Coaching launched October 17, 2026 and we expect 500+ coaches in the next couple of months. It also has loop guides, real interview questions and AI mock interviews for roles like Data Engineer at Meta or Software Engineer at Amazon.
02Coaching marketplace across many roles: Prepfully.
03Anonymous live mocks for software engineers: interviewing.io.
04Free peer mocks and courses: Aced (formerly Exponent).
05System design with live practice included: Hello Interview.

I run Dataford, so keep that in mind. I link to each site's own pages so you can check prices and features yourself.

Context

Why people look for a IGotAnOffer alternative

01Coaching only. You still need a place to practice questions between sessions.
02Data roles. Its guides and coaches lean toward PM, software engineering and consulting.
03Credit math. At 2 to 5 credits an hour, the real price depends on the coach.
04Cost of volume. At about $100 to $250 an hour, many sessions add up fast.

Coaching is the newest part of Dataford. We launched it on October 17, 2026 with 40+ coaches who work at the companies candidates are interviewing for, and we expect to pass 500 in the next couple of months. Sessions are anonymous, nothing is recorded, and everything happens inside Dataford: you book, join the call and read the written feedback in the same place, with no separate Zoom or Google Meet link to chase. The idea is simple: questions and AI mocks get you most of the way, and a 60-minute session with someone who sits on that loop covers the rest.

01

Dataford

Dataford is interview prep for a specific company and role, across 80+ roles and 15,000+ companies. You pick the loop, like Data Engineer at Meta or Software Engineer at Amazon, and get a guide to each round, real questions past candidates were asked, AI mock interviews and SQL and Python practice where the loop needs it.

01Good for: A mock interview with someone who works at the company you're interviewing with, plus practice for that loop between sessions. Coaches cover data, engineering (including forward deployed and AI/ML), product and consulting roles. Sessions are anonymous (the coach sees your first name only, and nothing is recorded), and you can cancel free up to 24 hours before.
021:1 coaching: 40+ coaches with a verified-employer badge who work at companies like Meta, Google, Amazon, Databricks, Snowflake, Stripe and Netflix. Sessions are 60-minute mock interviews or strategy calls, about $109 to $339 per session, with written feedback afterward. Sessions are anonymous and nothing is recorded. Coaching launched on October 17, 2026 with 40+ coaches, and we expect to pass 500 in the next couple of months as we add a more human side to prep on Dataford. Every session runs inside Dataford itself, with no separate Zoom or Google Meet link, so booking, the mock and the feedback all sit in one place.
03Weaker on: With 40+ coaches, some company and role pairs won't have a coach yet. Some company-role guides are built from a small number of reports, so treat their stats as rough.
04Price: $29/month or $89/year, same features on both plans.
05Scale: 51,000+ real interview questions and 86,000+ interview guides.
06Disclosure: I founded Dataford.
02

Prepfully

Prepfully is a marketplace for one-hour mock interviews and coaching. Its FAQ covers booking a coach who currently works at your target company, and it lists coaches for roles from Software Engineer at Google to Data Scientist at Meta and Data Engineer at Netflix. It also offers AI mock interviews.

01Good for: A mock with someone from your target company across a wide range of roles.
02Weaker on: Quality depends on the coach you pick. Refunds have exclusions, such as missed sessions, so read the rules first.
03Price: Paid per one-hour session. I couldn't find a public price list, so check rates when you book.
03

interviewing.io

interviewing.io runs anonymous mock interviews with experienced engineers. Sessions are voice only, with no video, and the interviewer doesn't see your details. It covers coding, system design, ML, behavioral and engineering management interviews, and has a free AI interviewer for coding and system design.

01Good for: Software engineers who want a realistic, anonymous dress rehearsal before an important onsite.
02Weaker on: Expensive for volume, and little for product, analytics or data roles outside ML.
03Price: Interviews start at $179 and cost more for some subjects or an interviewer from a specific company. Full refund if you're unhappy.
04

Aced (formerly Exponent)

Aced's membership includes peer mock interviews: 5 a month on the free Basic plan and unlimited on Pro, plus courses, video answers and company guides. AI mock interviews are on Expert, and coaching with experts is a paid add-on.

01Good for: Lots of cheap or free practice with peers, especially for PM and software engineering.
02Weaker on: A peer isn't an interviewer from your target company, and expert coaching costs extra.
03Price: Free Basic. Pro is $79/month or $12/month billed yearly. Expert is $99/month or $20/month billed yearly.
05

Hello Interview

Hello Interview is best known for system design. Premium includes videos on system design, low-level design and coding, recent questions from real interviews and live practice interviews: 1 with the monthly plan and 2 with the yearly plan.

01Good for: Senior software engineers who want system design prep with a live practice interview included.
02Weaker on: Narrow if you're interviewing for PM or data roles.
03Price: $47 for 1 month, $95 for 1 year or $319 lifetime when I checked, shown as discounts from higher list prices.
