Write a script to sort software version numbers from oldest to newest.
Implement def sort_versions(versions):. Each version is a nonempty string of nonnegative integer components separated by periods, such as "2.10.3". Compare components numerically, not lexicographically. Leading zeros do not affect a component, and missing trailing components are treated as zero, so "1.2" equals "1.2.0". Return a new list containing the original strings in ascending version order. Preserve input order when versions are equivalent.
