Vector Creation Utility

EasyPython

Problem

For a calibration sequence on a Carnegie Robotics MultiSense sensor, create a function that returns every integer from i to j, inclusive. The sequence must follow the direction from the starting value to the ending value: ascending when i < j and descending when i > j.

Formal Specification

Implement create_vector(i, j):

  1. i and j are integers.
  2. Return a Python list containing all integers from i through j, including both endpoints.
  3. If i == j, return a one-element list.
  4. If i > j, return the values in descending order.

Constraints

  • -10^6 <= i, j <= 10^6
  • Both endpoints are included in the returned list
  • The output follows the direction from i to j

Function Signature
