UAT for New Calculation Logic | Dataford Interview Questions

Describe your process for performing user acceptance testing (UAT) on new calculation logic.

Write a SQL query that compares expected and actual calculation outputs for the same employees and test dates, then flags each row as a pass or fail.

Output

One row per employee and test date that appears in either source
Columns: employee_id, test_date, expected_value, actual_value, status
Include rows where the values match or differ, and also rows missing from one side
Sort by employee_id, then test_date

expected_calculations
