Transaction Challenge Components | Dataford Interview Questions

The Codescreen assessment presented the Transaction Challenge, requiring the creation of credit, debit (authorize), and ping components. Implement process_transactions(operations) using the input and output contract below. Each operation is a dictionary with type, account, and, for credit or debit, a nonnegative integer amount; return one result for every debit or ping in input order, omitting credit results. A debit succeeds only when the account has sufficient balance, and a ping returns the current balance or zero.
