Your question is Toughest Client Experience. Take a moment with it on the right.
Talk me through your thinking if you like. When you're confident, submit your answer and I'll grade it like a real screen (7/10 or better passes).
Describe your toughest client from the past.
Explain what made the relationship difficult, what the client expected, and what was at stake. Walk me through how you diagnosed the underlying issue, communicated with the client, and coordinated internally to move the relationship forward.
I am probing for composure, empathy, prioritization, influence without authority, and accountability. Avoid labeling the client as simply unreasonable. Show how you separated emotion from facts, clarified expectations, made trade-offs, and owned your part in the outcome.
A strong response uses one specific example in STAR format and ends with a measurable result and a lesson you carried into later client work.
