Top Users by Transaction Amount | Dataford Interview Questions

Write a SQL query to retrieve the top 10 users with the highest transaction amounts.

Use the provided users and transactions tables. Interpret transaction amount at the user level as the sum of all transaction amounts for each user. Exclude users without transactions.

Output

One row per user, with user_id, username, and total_transaction_amount
Include the 10 users with the highest totals
Order by total amount descending, then user_id ascending to break ties
