Top Providers Claims Query

MediumSQL · PostgreSQL

Problem

Given a database schema for medical claims, write a SQL query to find the top 10 providers by total claim amount in the last 30 days.

Use the provider and claim data described in the schema. Include only claims in the rolling 30-day period and return providers in descending order of total amount.

Output

  1. One row per provider with columns provider_id, provider_name, and total_claim_amount.
  2. Include at most 10 providers, ordered by total_claim_amount descending, with provider_id ascending as the tie-breaker.
