SQL: Top Providers by State | Dataford Interview Questions

Write a SQL query to find the top three most active providers in each state based on completed sessions for Spring Health.

Use the provided providers and sessions tables. Include providers with no completed sessions when their state has fewer than three providers.

Output

One row per selected provider, with state, provider_id, provider_name, completed_sessions, and provider_rank.
Return at most three providers per state, ordered by state, rank, and provider ID. Higher completed-session counts rank first; ties are broken by the lower provider ID.

providers
