SQL for Top Booked Hotels

Problem

Write a SQL query to find the top 10 most booked hotels in the past year for Marriott International.

Use the hotel and booking records provided. Count bookings dated from one year before the current date through the current date.

Output

  1. One row per hotel with hotel_id, hotel_name, and booking_count
  2. Include only hotels with at least one booking in the period
  3. Sort by booking_count descending, then hotel_id ascending for ties
  4. Return at most 10 rows
