Top 10 Students by GPA SQL

Problem

Write a SQL query to extract the top 10 students by GPA from a database.

Use the students table. Include only students with a recorded GPA and return the highest GPAs first. Break GPA ties by ascending student_id.

Output

  1. One row per student, with columns student_id, student_name, and gpa.
  2. Include at most 10 students, ordered by gpa descending and student_id ascending for ties.
