Top 10 Customers by Loan Amount

EasySQL · PostgreSQL

Problem

LendingClub's personal-loan analytics team wants to identify borrowers associated with the largest total amount of issued loans. Write a PostgreSQL query that aggregates loan amounts by borrower and returns the top 10 borrowers.

Requirements

  1. Include only loans where loan_status = 'Issued'.
  2. Calculate each borrower's total issued loan amount.
  3. Return the borrower's ID, name, and total amount, ordered from highest to lowest. Break ties with the smaller customer_id and return only 10 rows.
