Three Sum to Target

MediumPython

Problem

Given an array of integers, find any three integers that sum to N.

Implement find_three_sum(nums, target). Return any list containing three values from nums whose sum equals target. Each array element may be used at most once. Return an empty list if no such triple exists. The order of the returned values does not matter.

Input and Output

nums is a list of integers and target is an integer. The function returns a list of exactly three integers or [].

Constraints

  • 3 <= nums.length <= 10^4
  • -10^9 <= nums[i] <= 10^9
  • -10^9 <= target <= 10^9
  • Each array element may be used at most once
  • Any valid triple is accepted
