Your question is Technical Trade-off Under Deadline. Take a moment with it on the right.

Talk me through your thinking if you like. When you're confident, submit your answer and I'll grade it like a real screen (7/10 or better passes).

You need to log in / sign up to chat or submit.

Problem

Tell me about a time you had to make a technical trade-off under a tight deadline. Explain the competing options, the constraints that shaped your decision, and how you managed the risks. Interviewers are probing for prioritization, judgment under pressure, ownership, and the ability to communicate a decision when no option is ideal. A strong answer should use a specific past example, explain what you deliberately sacrificed, quantify the outcome where possible, and include what you learned.
