Explain how agents discover, authenticate, fetch, validate, and atomically apply configuration updates, including offline hosts, retries, rollback, and version consistency. Include an ML component that detects risky configuration changes or abnormal rollout behavior without becoming a single point of failure. Address scale, latency, availability, security, observability, training and serving paths, and operational failure modes.
