Your question is System Architecture and Trade-offs. Take a moment with it on the right.

Talk me through your thinking if you like. When you're confident, submit your answer and I'll grade it like a real screen (7/10 or better passes).

You need to log in / sign up to chat or submit.

Problem

Explain the design of a system you have worked on, including high-level architecture and trade-offs.

Choose a production ML system you can discuss in depth. Cover the problem and requirements, major offline and online components, data and feature flow, model training and serving, and the decisions you made between viable alternatives. Be prepared to explain scale, latency, reliability, evaluation, monitoring, feature drift, training-serving skew, and one or more failures or redesigns. Distinguish your individual contributions from the broader system, and state which metrics or evidence supported your trade-offs.
