Swap Between Two Numbers

Swap Between Two Numbers

EasyPython

Problem

A Nokia NetAct validation utility receives two integer configuration values that may be in the wrong order. Implement a function that swaps the values and returns them in reversed order.

The function must not modify external state. In Python, integers are immutable, so return the swapped values as a two-element tuple.

Formal Specification

Implement swap_numbers(a, b):

  • Input: Two integers, a and b.
  • Output: A tuple (b, a) containing the values in reverse order.
  • The implementation should use Python's multiple assignment when possible and must not rely on arithmetic overflow behavior.

Constraints

  • a and b are integers.
  • -10^9 <= a, b <= 10^9.
  • The output contains exactly two values.

Function Signature
