Summarize Transaction Volume by Bank | Dataford Interview Questions

Argus Information & Advisory Services needs a quarterly transaction summary for activity monitored through its Argus platform. Write a PostgreSQL query that reports transaction volume by bank for completed transactions from January 1 through March 31, 2025.

Requirements

Include every bank, including banks with no qualifying transactions.
Return the number of completed transactions and their total amount for each bank.
Treat banks with no qualifying amount as having a total amount of zero, and order results by total amount descending, then bank name ascending.
