String Deduplication Algorithm | Dataford Interview Questions

Create an algorithm that takes a String and returns the same string without duplicate letters.

Implement remove_duplicate_letters(s), accepting one string and returning a string. Preserve the first occurrence of each character and retain all other characters in their original order. Character comparison is case-sensitive, and spaces and punctuation are treated as characters.

Input and Output

Input: s, a string.
Output: The deduplicated string.

Constraints

0 <= len(s) <= 10^5
The input contains standard Unicode characters
Character comparison is case-sensitive
