SQL With Light Python

MediumSQL · PostgreSQL

Problem

Describe a time you used SQL to solve a data problem and complemented it with Python when needed.

Explain the problem, the SQL analysis, why Python was useful, and how you validated the result. For the SQL portion, return entities with multiple records in January 2025 and summarize their records and unresolved quality flags.

Output

  1. One row per qualifying entity_key, with entity_key, record_count, total_amount, and unresolved_flag_count.
  2. Include only entities with more than one January 2025 record.
  3. Sort by total_amount descending, then entity_key ascending.
