SQL Sales Query | Dataford Interview Questions

Write a simple SQL query to extract sales data for the past quarter.

Use the sales table and interpret "past quarter" as the previous completed calendar quarter. Return individual sales records, excluding rows without a sale date.

Output

One row per sale
Columns: sale_id, sale_date, restaurant_name, and sales_amount
Include only sales from the previous completed calendar quarter
Sort by sale_date ascending, then sale_id ascending
