SQL Query Writing

MediumSQL · PostgreSQL

Problem

Build a set of SQL queries to answer specific data questions.

Using the provided customers, policies, and claims tables, return a consolidated customer-level result. Include customers without policies or qualifying claims, and treat missing monetary values as zero.

Output

  1. One row per customer, with customer_id, customer_name, active_policy_count, open_claim_count, and open_claim_amount.
  2. Include only claims with status open or under_review.
  3. Order by active policy count descending, open claim amount descending, then customer ID ascending.
