SQL Query and Estimation

MediumSQL · PostgreSQL

Problem

Tell me about how you would write a simple HackerRank SQL query and then make a reasonable guesstimate for burgers sold.

Using the provided burger sales data, write a query that totals burgers from completed orders. Then state a transparent, back-of-the-envelope estimate for a typical 30-day period based on the observed average daily completed sales.

Output

  1. Return one row with total_burgers_sold.
  2. Include only completed orders. The SQL result does not require ordering.
