SQL and Data Manipulation Tools

MediumSQL · PostgreSQL

Problem

Tell me about your experience working with SQL and databases, including joins and how you handle data transformations.

Demonstrate this by producing a customer-level result from the supplied data. Include only orders from 2025 that are completed, and ignore rows with a NULL order_date.

Output

  1. One row per customer, including customers without qualifying orders.
  2. Columns: customer_name, completed_order_count, completed_order_value, and payment_status.
  3. Sort by completed order value descending, then customer ID ascending. Rows with a NULL order_date are ignored.
