SQA and Requirements Testing

HardSQL · PostgreSQL

Problem

Describe how you would use a traceability matrix and boundary value analysis when testing an SRS for an i2c project.

Represent the traceability matrix with requirement-to-test links and record each test's boundary classification. Write a SQL query that audits every requirement for linked test coverage and both lower and upper boundary coverage.

Output

  1. One row per SRS requirement, including requirements without linked tests.
  2. Columns: requirement_id, requirement_key, linked_test_count, lower_boundary_count, upper_boundary_count, traceability_status, and boundary_status.
  3. Order by requirement_id ascending.
