Implement quick_sort(nums) to sort an array of integers in ascending order and return the sorted array. Use the quicksort algorithm rather than Python's built-in sorting functions. The implementation may modify nums in place.

Constraints

0 <= len(nums) <= 5000
-10^9 <= nums[i] <= 10^9
Return nums sorted in ascending order
Do not call Python's built-in sorted function or list.sort method
