Sorting a List of Numbers | Dataford Interview Questions

Implement a simple algorithm to sort a list of numbers.

Write sort_numbers(nums) to return the numbers in ascending order. Do not use Python's built-in sort() or sorted() functions. The input is a list of integers, and the output must be a new sorted list.

Constraints

0 <= len(nums) <= 500
-10^9 <= nums[i] <= 10^9
Return a new list and do not modify nums
Sort values in nondecreasing order
