Second Highest Salary Query Duplicate

Problem

Amagi Cloud maintains employee and salary data for internal workforce reporting. Write a PostgreSQL query to retrieve employees whose current salary is the second highest distinct salary in the company.

  1. Consider only salary records where is_current is TRUE.
  2. Use a ranking technique that includes all employees tied at the second highest distinct salary.
  3. Return employee_id, employee_name, and salary, ordered by employee_id.
  4. Ignore salary records where salary is NULL; they must not take part in the ranking.
