MediumSQL · PostgreSQL

Problem

Write an SQL query to find the second-highest sales revenue generated by a retail store in a specific region.

Use Southeast as the target region for the provided data. Include every store tied at the second-highest revenue level, and treat stores without sales as having zero revenue.

Output

  1. Return one row per qualifying store with store_id, store_name, and total_revenue.
  2. Include only stores ranked second by distinct revenue within the target region.
  3. Order by total_revenue descending, then store_id ascending.
