Salesforce Object and API Basics

HardSQL · PostgreSQL

Problem

How would you create a new field on the Event object, create a connected app, and update a city field on the Account object? Also explain inbound vs outbound calls, when to use @HttpPost, what Omni-Channel is, and what External Routing is.

Translate the data modification portion into PostgreSQL and briefly connect the SQL model to the Salesforce concepts.

Output

  1. Return one row per Account updated from its latest valid city-sync Event.
  2. Columns: account_id, account_name, city.
  3. Include only non-null city updates, ordered by account_id ascending.
