Reverse Words in a String | Dataford Interview Questions

Reverse all the words in a string, for example: How are you -> woH era uoy.

Implement reverse_words(s), which receives a string containing words separated by single spaces and returns a string where the characters in each word are reversed, while the word order remains unchanged. Punctuation should be treated as a regular character.

Input and Output

Input: a string s.
Output: a string with each word reversed.

Constraints

0 <= len(s) <= 10^5
Words are separated by single spaces.
The input may contain letters, digits, spaces, and punctuation.
The output must preserve the word order and separators.
