Return Most Repeated Element

EasyPython

Problem

How would you write code to return the most repeated element in a name?

Given a non-empty string name, return the character that appears most often. Treat characters as case-sensitive; if multiple characters have the same highest frequency, return the one that appears first in the string. The function must return a single-character string.

Constraints

  • 1 <= len(name) <= 1000
  • The input contains alphabetic characters only.
  • Character comparisons are case-sensitive.
  • If frequencies tie, return the character with the smallest index.
