Your question is Research Methodology for Athletes. Take a moment with it on the right.

Talk me through your thinking if you like. When you're confident, submit your answer and I'll grade it like a real screen (7/10 or better passes).

You need to log in / sign up to chat or submit.

Problem

How would you research the most famous athletes?

Asked in the Video interview stage. Treat “famous” as a measurable research question rather than assuming one ranking source is sufficient.

Requirements

  1. Define fame and select a primary metric or composite index.
  2. Identify reliable data sources and explain how you would normalize them across sports, countries, and time periods.
  3. Decompose the result into measurable drivers, such as audience reach, search interest, media coverage, and social engagement.
  4. Explain how you would validate the ranking, address bias, and present actionable findings.

Data Available

Assume access to public social-platform metrics, search-interest data, media coverage records, audience surveys, athlete and sport metadata, and geographic population data.
