Remove Duplicates and Count Vowels

MediumPython

Problem

Write a Python program to remove duplicates from a list and to count the number of vowels in a given string. Preserve the order of each value's first occurrence, and treat a, e, i, o, u, and y as vowels regardless of case. Implement def process_data(items, text):, returning [unique_items, vowel_count].

Constraints

  • 0 <= len(items) <= 10^4
  • 0 <= len(text) <= 10^5
  • List values are hashable
  • Vowels are the letters a, e, i, o, u, and y, counted without regard to case

Function Signature
