Welcome to your interview.
The question is on your right: Recover an Off-Track Project. Take a moment with it first.
Talk your thinking through with me if you like - when you're confident, submit your answer and I'll grade it like a real screen (7/10 or better passes). Discussion and graded submissions share your five interviewer interactions, so spend them well.
You are the EM owning a customer-facing feature launch for a B2B SaaS product. The project started on a clear timeline, but halfway through it has slipped, the integration is unstable, and the original launch date is now at risk. Several stakeholders are pushing different answers: sales wants the full scope preserved, support wants fewer edge cases before launch, and the product lead is asking for a firm commitment to customers already waiting on the release.
Tell me about a time you had to recover a project that was off track. How did you assess the situation, reset expectations, and get it back to delivery?
