Reconciling Conflicting Satellite Reservations | Dataford Interview Questions

Write a function to reconcile conflicting satellite pass reservations across a network at Northwood.

Implement reconcile_reservations(reservations). Each reservation is a dictionary with id, satellite, start, end, and priority. Intervals use half-open semantics, so [start, end) reservations that only touch do not conflict. For each satellite, process reservations by start time and retain the higher-priority reservation when intervals overlap. If priorities tie, retain the lexicographically smaller ID. Return the retained reservation IDs ordered by satellite, start time, and ID.

The input contains valid intervals with start < end.

Constraints

0 <= reservations.length <= 500
Each reservation has string fields id and satellite
start and end are integers with start < end
0 <= priority <= 10^9
Reservation IDs are unique
Intervals use half-open semantics [start, end)
