Querying Salesforce with External Data

EasyPython

Problem

How would you retrieve accounts that don't have any opportunities?

Asked in the first round stage.

Given Salesforce Accounts and Opportunities as Python lists of dictionaries, return Account IDs with no related Opportunity. Preserve the input Account order and treat repeated Opportunity records as one relationship.

Input and Output

accounts contains dictionaries with an id field. opportunities contains dictionaries with an account_id field. Return a list of Account IDs absent from all Opportunity account_id values.

Constraints

  • 0 <= len(accounts) <= 5000
  • 0 <= len(opportunities) <= 5000
  • Each Account dictionary contains a unique string field named id
  • Each Opportunity dictionary contains a string field named account_id
  • The output preserves the order of accounts
