Your question is Querying Multi-Source Data for a Chatbot. Take a moment with it on the right.

Talk me through your thinking if you like. When you're confident, submit your answer and I'll grade it like a real screen (7/10 or better passes).

You need to log in / sign up to chat or submit.

Problem

One Excel file contains details of meetings (one row per meeting). A local folder has documents related to each meeting in subfolders named after meeting IDs. The chatbot should query both the Excel file and the related files and answer. How will you store these files in a vector DB?

Asked in the round 1 stage. Explain the practical ingestion, indexing, retrieval, and answer-generation design, including how you would preserve the relationship between each meeting row and its documents.
