Non-alphabetic characters, including spaces, digits, and punctuation, must remain unchanged and in the same positions. The function must return a new string and must not modify the original input.
Implement uppercase_text(text), where text is a string. Return a string containing the uppercase version of every letter in text. An empty input is valid. For this problem, inputs contain printable ASCII characters, so letters are in the ranges a-z and A-Z.
You may use Python's standard string operations. Do not remove whitespace or other characters.
