Your question is Project Requirements Questions. Take a moment with it on the right.
Talk me through your thinking if you like. When you're confident, submit your answer and I'll grade it like a real screen (7/10 or better passes).
If assigned a hypothetical project, what questions would you ask to gather requirements? This was asked in the hiring manager stage. Interviewers are evaluating how you reduce ambiguity, identify stakeholders, clarify success criteria, uncover constraints and dependencies, and decide what to prioritize first. Explain how you would distinguish essential requirements from nice-to-have requests, validate assumptions, and confirm alignment before implementation. A strong response should be structured, practical, and attentive to both user needs and engineering realities. If drawing on experience, use a specific example and describe the questions you asked, how the requirements changed, and the resulting outcome.
